A task-force research project by the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington: examining the long-term impacts of U.S. nuclear colonialism in the Marshall Islands, and developing a toolkit for the advancement of Marshallese interests.
Welcome to Ippen Dron, All of Us Together, a project by a Jackson School of International Studies Task Force at the University of Washington in Seattle.
In the Marshallese language, “ippen dron”, means, “all of us together”. We have chosen this title to highlight our objective to stand in solidarity with the Marshallese people.
The content found on this site has been carefully crafted to aid the advancement of Marshallese interests as they navigate a reality of post nuclear colonialism by the United States government.
Our wish is that our efforts will help to maintain and strengthen the long and rich friendship between the United States and the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and we hope that we can communicate a message of optimism: that ippen dron – – we will be able to create a brighter future for our long-lasting friendship.
